Genome Wide Characterization, Comparative and Genetic Diversity Analysis of Simple Sequence Repeats in Cucurbita Species

Simple sequence repeats (SSRs) are widely used in mapping constructions and comparative genetic diversity analyses. Here, 103,056 SSR loci were found Cucurbita species by silico PCR. In general, the frequency of these SSRs decreased with increase motif length, di-nucleotide motifs most common type. For same repeat types, sharply number. The majority suitable for marker development (84.75% moschata, 94.53% maxima, 95.09% pepo). Using markers, cross-species transferable markers between C. pepo other Cucurbitaceae developed, complicated mosaic relationships among them analyzed. Especially, main syntenic moschata or maxima indicated that chromosomes genomes highly conserved during evolution. Furthermore, 66 core selected to measure 61 germplasms, they divided into two groups structure unweighted pair group method arithmetic analysis. These results will promote utilization basic applied research species.
